Nominal morphosyntax and word order in heritage Russian across majority languages (RUEG P3)

RUEG P3 is a subproject of the research unit "Emerging Grammars in Language Contact Situations: A Comparative Approach", which is financed by the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft). Its aim is to examine Russian as a heritage language in Germany. Heritage languages are languages spoken by migrants in their everyday and family lives. They are contrasted with majority languages, which are languages spoken by the majority of the population in a country (e.g. German in Germany or Russian in Russia). Heritage languages often undergo complex changes and differ extensively from the standard form of their respective language. This makes them particularly interesting for linguistics.
